From Deborah:
You are my heroes. My family has been in the military
for at least the past three generations and even though
I was a teenager during the Vietnam War, I was never
a peace baby, i.e., I never put down the brave men and
women fighting for what is right. I just want to leave
you with one of my favorite scriptures, it has given
me comfort for many years now: Thou wilt keep him in
perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee, because
he trusts in thee. (Is 26:3) GOD Bless You All
From Jay: We who remain at home pledge
to stand in the gap for you, to be intercessors for
you and cover you with prayer until you return home
to us. We will call you by name and pray for your safety,
and for the comfort of God's love for the wives, children
and loved ones you had to leave behind. May God Almighty
be your shield and your portion.
From Charity & Sheila (Navy wives):
I would like to take a moment to thank each and everyone
(unlike the protesters) for the ultimate patriotism
that you are showing. Never have I been more proud to
be a Navy Wife. I thank you for all of the sacrifices
that you have made and those you have yet to make. YOU
ARE THE CREAM OF THE CROP! The group of Americans who
willingly defend our great nation by Land, Air and Sea.
I am proud to stand behind President Bush and the men
and women who enable us to live in this great free nation
of ours. In closing this letter I would just like to
quote our favorite part of the Navy hymn. "O' FATHER
HEAR US WHEN WE PRAY FOR THOSE WE LOVE SO FAR AWAY"
This is our prayer for each of you. May God bless, keep
and guide you all.
From Joshua: Our family’s prayers
are with you. We are very proud of who you are and what
you do. Thank you for protecting us.
From Laura: Thank you for all that
you do for our country. I am so glad that there are
people like you that leave their lives and families
to fight in a war, so that I may stay at home with my
family. You are truly brave and I am blessed because
of you. Take heart and know that I, personally, will
be praying for you all, and also that there is many,
many more praying for your safety. May God bless you
and your families.
From Carla: Thank you for stopping
your personal lives to answer the call of America. I
pray safety for you and a loving reunion with your loved
ones. God speed to you.
From SPC RYKS': It is with great honor
that I get to write a letter of appreciation to you
today. I understand the pain you must be going through
as you miss your loved ones back home. You see my husband
and I are both in the Army National Guard and have been
deployed at the same time in two totally different directions
of the world. We found that the only thing that got
us through it was prayer and mailing each other constantly.
I would mail him three sometimes four times a day. Our
prayers and gratitude are with you as you help all service
members (active or reserved) fight for what GOD has
given us...freedom!
From Nette: Our thoughts and prayers
are with you daily. We thank you for accepting the challenge
to defend our nation.
From Shirley: Thank you for your sacrifice
and courage during these difficult and uncertain times
for our country. Know that many of us back home are
praying (and fasting) for you and your families. God
bless you and keep you and let His face shine upon you
and give you His peace. I also pray that He give you
strength for the days ahead. God bless you and keep
you.
From the Roosevelt, AR Lighthouse Bible Study:
We are a small group of Christians in rural Arizona.
We have a Bible study every Thursday evening and we
want you to know how much we appreciate your service.
We will be praying for your safety and your peace as
well as world peace. We appreciate you and pray for
your courage. We will be standing on Psalms 91 with
thousands of other Christians praying for you. Thank
you for choosing an honorable and a courageous career.
May God be with you and bless you through this time.
We will also pray for your families’ peace and
safekeeping.
From Addsion: Your courage and dedication
serve as an inspiration to all of us. Please know that
you are in our thoughts and prayers through the day
and night. We stand beside you and will be with you
in spirit through the days ahead. Please know that each
of you is loved and cherished. We give you our full
support and place our trust in you. You make our hearts
swell with pride, and we are richly blessed to have
you keeping us safe and protected from harm. Thank you
so very much.
From Lea: Thank you for loving our
country and fighting for our freedoms. God bless you
and keep you safe and return you to your families and
America soon. I will pray for you at all time. You are
in the care of God and God is in charge. I love you
all. You make me proud of our young people who believe
in bringing to the world the freedoms we enjoy. Your
mission is noble.
From Donnie & Cindy: You are in
our prayers each & every day. We do not take lightly
the sacrifices you are making for our freedoms &
safety. Know that you are covered in prayer each moment
as you walk into various situations. As God has called
you to serve in the physical capacity, He has called
us to serve in the spiritual capacity. THANK YOU for
what you are so courageously doing.
From the Ayers family: My family and
I are praying for God's protection and strength for
you - may He put a hedge of protection around you and
your family. We will keep you, your family, President
Bush, our leaders and the United States of America in
prayer. We are so proud of you and thank you for defending
the freedom of our country! God bless all of you and
God bless America!
From Bill: I am from Satsuma, Alabama...My
family and I are praying and asking God to provide for
all of your needs. We are asking that God will disrupt
any evil plan that is devised against you. Be Strong--Be
Brave--Hurry Home!
From Robin: I pray that the Lord,
our God, would bless you and keep you in His almighty
care; give you strength, courage, stamina and rest each
day that you are away from your loved ones. I pray that
God would bless your loved ones and keep them safe while
you are away, until your safe return to them. I pray
that you and your loved ones would know, love and serve
the One who created you/them in His image, and lean
upon Him each minute of your life, so that you might
spend eternity with Him. I thank you for your daily
sacrifice for our safety and the safety of this great
country.
From Donna: I would like to thank
you for your sacrifices. I know it must be very hard
to leave your family and friends to go into harms way.
My prayers are with you. I believe in our country and
I believe in you.
From Beatrice: Be strong and be courageous,
for the battle is not yours, but the Lords. For those
who have a relationship with Jesus, please don't give
up your faith. For those who do not have a relationship
with Jesus, please do not harden your hearts. Jesus
loves you and
He wants to spend eternity with you. God is in control.
From Pam: I want to THANK YOU for
the job you do everyday in defense of our country.
As a teacher and leader of a Girl Scout Troop, I find
myself apologizing to the children of the United States
for the fact that they live in a fear this country has
not know for decades. I also convey to them the fact
that brave men and women risk their lives daily in defense
of the freedoms we enjoy. Thank you again for your everyday
resolve to protect the United States.
From Lora: With war looming over us,
I just wanted to send an e-mail of encouragement and
prayer. I pray that our Father God will hold each one
of you in His hands and protect you. I pray that the
war will be quick and effective in its goal. I pray
that each of you will be home with your families soon.
Don't let the news of the protesting discourage you!
There are many here at home who back our president 100%,
and are forever in debt for the sacrifice you are making.
People need to see the "big picture". It is
for our future and freedom that you have been called
to fight. God bless you all, and God's speed home!
From Wendy: God grant you the courage
for the battle ahead, and the victory that only He can
bring. God keep you safe and secure. Thank you for fighting
for freedom and for those lost on 9-11. May your victory
be swift and short, In Jesus Name! I love you all with
the love of the Lord. THANK YOU!
From DD: May God bless and be with
each of you. When you feel scared, just look to God
and stand on His word and pray. You are all in my prayers
and America is very proud of you. I am a disabled Navy
veteran and I realize your sacrifice. We all love you.
From Julie: Listen.... Can you
hear the prayers being prayed for you? They are being
said every day, at all hours of the day and night. I
heard that some of the men are worried that the Americans
are not worried about you and the people are in the
streets putting the war down. Well, maybe some of them,
but the important people will never let you down one
second of the day. You know how the press is, they will
cover only the "worst" of Americans and not
the best. I guess they don't understand the best of
us! I love each and everyone of you and I promise God
is here and He is there where you are. We will all come
through this together, and you men are the best of what
real America is about.
