Jonas Brothers: The 3-D Concert Experience

Movieguide Magazine

CBN.com - Jonas Brothers: The 3-D Concert Experience is a concert movie that follows the pop trio on their “Burning Up Tour.” Filmed in 3-D, the audience gets a view of what it’d be like not only to see the concert live, but also to be onstage as well.

In addition to the concert footage, the cameras follow the three boys, Kevin, Joe, and Nick, as they wake up, get ready to go on stage and then perform. The viewers get to follow them as if they were along for the ride.

Onstage there are guest stars Demi Lovato and Taylor Swift who perform with the band. As part of the release of the movie, the boys perform a new song. Filmed in summer of 2008 in Los Angeles and New York, this movie is a catchy, toe-tapping experience sure to be enjoyed by pre-teens everywhere.

The Jonas Brothers movie is a clean cut version of a Beatles movie or a Rolling Stone movie. There is the excitement of the stage, the screaming fans, but as professing Christians, the brothers Jonas keep a clean image. There is no foul language nor sexual content, and there’s no illegal drugs or alcohol, usually a staple for a concert film. The boys are seen without their shirts in one scene, when they wake up.

Both young and old alike – but especially the young – will enjoy the movie, and it’s refreshing to see positive role models take the stage and the screen.
