- GSN's Bible trivia game is back! This Thursday, comedian Jeff Foxworthy, along with a few familiar faces, kicks off the start of season 2 of The American Bible Challenge.
Designed to test America's spiritual savvy, The American Bible Challenge features contestants from varying backgrounds answering Bible questions to win money for their favorite charity. In the season premiere, a tattoo artist, some self-proclaimed divas and a team of nuns "go head to head in a lively contest of faith, fun and facts".
Season 2 brings with it an addition to the show, Grammy-winning musical co-host Kirk Franklin, who's on set to lead The American Bible Challenge choir. If you look closer at the start of episode one, you may recognize a few of this season's upcoming contestants, including former 700 Club co-host Sheila Walsh and worship artist Kari Jobe.
A few of the trivia rounds, in this season opener, aren't as fun as the others, but you'll still find yourself trying to guess the correct answers. And it isn't easy. Some of the questions Foxworthy presents are pretty advanced. All this Bible knowledge will make you want to study God's Word even more. And that's encouraging.
Season 2 of The American Bible Challenge starts this Thursday, March 21, at 9 p.m. ET/PT on GSN.
