It’s radical…God’s blueprint for CBN to reach the most remote regions of the globe through CBN international centers. The plan is simple yet explosive…that is, to reproduce CBN’s ministry by establishing regional centers outside the United States.
Gordon adds, "Train up people within their own culture to take a broadcast television ministry to the entire nation."
Teams of producers create dynamic television programs shaped to fit the needs of each culture.
"And as these people are trained, they are coming up with brand new ideas we haven’t thought of before," says Gordon.
In Indonesia, a country seared by tension, CBN is presenting a clear and culturally relevant Gospel message through a powerful television program "SOLUSI," Solutions. New Hope is bringing new life.
"The ministry results have been phenomenal," says Gordon.
Such phenomenal results began quite humbly, a small UHF television station with a signal barely reaching the local neighborhood. Now as we enter this new millennium, the 700 Club, CBN’s flagship program, faithfully broadcasts the timeless truths of the Bible. And the production staff keeps a keen eye to the changing culture creating trendy and meaty programs for a generation marked by restlessness and moral apathy.
To counteract that moral apathy, CBN launched an unprecedented campaign, encouraging Americans to read the Bible. This year, CBN partners distributed the Book of Hope to 10 million homes. This special collection of scriptures explains what the Bible says about key spiritual issues such as forgiveness and perseverance.
Rekindling hearts for Christ must include a personal touch. That’s why CBN’s ministry blueprint has, at its core, a The 700 Club Prayer Counseling Center. 24-hours a day seven days a week, every day, all day teams of trained counselors are ready to provide a sensitive ear and a timely prayer. It's here the spiritual battle rages as over eight thousand people in need call every day. For them, the prayer center is an oasis of hope.
A well-layered ministry plan must reflect God’s compassion, a burning desire to help others. CBN’s Operation Blessing began in 1978. Today, Operation Blessing is International, a network of individuals building, feeding, clothing, and embracing all in the powerful name of Jesus.
Dedicated teams of medical professionals do not count the cost as they become part of a missionary concept so grand, it’s one of a kind--the Flying Hospital. This unique Hospital touch down in nations ravaged by poverty, ignorance and political unrest
Center stage to the world’s political upheaval is the Middle East. Its here CBN has enjoyed much success despite incredible challenges. Middle East television broadcasts the gospel message to an area of 200 million people. The TV signal spans twenty-two countries.
