– Steve Crisafulli has been a 700 Club partner for years, but he’s especially touched when he sees Operation Blessing helping children who need new clothes and school supplies.
“It was in August, and there was a back-to-school program that Terry was promoting on the show,” Steve says. “It showed Terry actually taking children into the stores and buying the clothes and backpacks that these children needed to have to go to school. I was taken by this because right here in the United States of America, the wealthiest country in the world, we still have children that can’t even afford clothes to go to school.”
The next day, as Steve was watching The 700 Club, he decided he wanted to help people in the U.S. and around the world through Operation Blessing.
“I was writing the check out,” Steve says, “and I began to put it into the envelope to mail it. I said to myself, ‘This is going to make it pretty tight between now and next Friday.’ I prayed about it and the Good Lord said, ‘Go ahead, I’ll take care of it.’”
The next morning Steve went to his job at a car dealership.
“A colleague of mine, Phil, came up to me,” Steve says. “‘He said, ‘Steve, we actually had a sale yesterday.’ You see, when we have a day off and one of my customers comes in, Phil will take care of him and we’ll share the sale from my day off. And I’m saying to Phil, ‘When did Chris come in?’ And Phil says, ‘A little after 10 a.m.’ So I knew God was working at that point. He was right on it, as He said, He was taking care of it. Because the commission I got was 12 times what I offered to Terry for the kids.”
