God Heals Man with Cancer through Word of Knowledge on The 700 Club

"Fred was diagnosed with Hodgkin’s disease, which was the same cancer that my father died from. And we were brand-new Christians," Elizabeth Colosimo explains. "I was watching The 700 Club. Just then, the co-host, the woman said, 'Right now, the Lord is going to heal someone who has lymphoma, and we’re to lay hands on their neck and pray for them.'

"I told Fred what I had just heard, and he let me lay hands on his neck and pray for him."

"That was 1987, and I’m still here," Fred Colosimo says. "They did take a tumor out of my chest about the size of a cantaloupe. It was huge and it was malignant. God had spoken to my heart, and so I had surgery and I had six months of chemotherapy. I told Elizabeth, 'God told me He’s going to heal me. I’m not going to die.' "

The Colosimo’s favorite CBN ministry is Operation Blessing, but they also love the Prayer Counseling Center and the testimonies they see on The 700 Club.

"There are times when I’ve been so discouraged, as we all get discouraged, and the phone will ring: 'This is CBN. This is The 700 Club. Do you need prayer?' And I go, 'Absolutely!' right at that moment. I love that. That is so great," says Elizabeth.

"A lot of the things that you hear people will testify about are things that you’re going through," adds Fred. "You know that if God has done it for them, He can do it for you as well. "
