Soon after Jinxi was born, her parents noticed that she was very weak. This concerned them and they took her to the hospital frequently. The doctors performed a thorough examination and gave them a shocking diagnosis—their baby was suffering from congenital heart disease!

As Jinxi grew, the disease became more serious. Her mouth and fingernails were purple and she was not strong enough to play like the other children. Her parents had spent all they had trying to get help, but they could not afford the surgery that she desperately needed. Jinxi’s father lost all hope and abandoned the family. Jinxi’s mother could not shoulder such an enormous burden alone.

Because of the generosity of our partners, Jinxi was able to receive heart surgery through CBN’s Life-Changing Surgeries program!
