Instructor's Thoughts
The Law of Reciprocity describes God's formula for giving our time, talent, and love to others. This is God's divine model for giving, and it has priority over the model of the world, which is selfishness. In God's model, we are to give of ourselves with loving open hearts to those around us and even give to people who might be our enemies. While giving in such a free manner, we are not to do so with any expectation of worldly receipt, but in loving service to God who assures us of a heavenly reward.
