"The Bible: Son of God Tour" Hits the Road

CBN.com – (March 21, 2014) – Last Thursday night was a momentous occasion as Word Entertainment, in partnership with producer Mark Burnett and producer/actress Roma Downey and their company LightWorkers Media, launched "The Bible: SON OF GOD Tour 2014" at Rick Warren's Saddleback Church in Southern California.
GRAMMY®-nominated artist Francesca Battistelli, Sidewalk Prophets, GRAMMY®-nominated artist Natalie Grant, Chris August, Meredith Andrews and Jason Gray played before a packed crowd with over 2,000 in attendance including Burnett, Downey, Warren and Word Entertainment President and CEO Rod Riley. The epic two-hour live event runs an additional 13 dates nationwide through April 13 including a sold out show in Pittsburgh on April 10.
"The Bible: SON OF GOD Tour 2014" brings the epic miniseries The Bible and 20th Century Fox feature film Son of God to life in sight and sound with immersive video and stunning visual effects paired with live, in-person performances by GRAMMY®-nominated artist Francesca Battistelli, Sidewalk Prophets, GRAMMY®-nominated artist Natalie Grant, Chris August, Meredith Andrews and Jason Gray.

Downey and Burnett brought the epic 10-hour miniseries The Bible to television audiences on the HISTORY channel with their company LightWorkers Media. It became the top entertainment telecast of the year, received three Emmy® Award nominations and has been viewed by over 100 million people to date. On February 28, the 20th Century Fox feature film Son of God premiered to millions of people worldwide on the big screen. Word Entertainment collaborated with Burnett and Downey to release the musical companion to both The Bible and Son of God.
